- Expanded metal is a product formed by placing staggered cut in a metal plate with a special machine and simultaneously spreading it to create a diamond shaped or hexagonal shaped mesh.
- This has better ventilation, lighting passage, and visibility as the porosity is higher than other steel plate for floor.
